Mae Dana Edwards newydd ryddhau ei hail lyfr yn y Gymraeg, Am Newid. Mae’n nofel boblogaidd, ffres a chyfoes sy’n hawdd ei darllen sydd yn ceisio mynd i’r afael â’n hagweddau at bobl sydd ddim yn cydymffurfio â’n syniad ni o’r hyn sy’n draddodiadol. Yma, mae hi’n esbonio mwy am sut gwnaeth hi greu’r llyfr.

Mewnwelediad unigryw- yn y Gymraeg  |  Unique insight- in Welsh

‘Peidiwch a beirniadu llyfr yn ol ei glawr’- dyna yw’r dywediad. Ond pan mae’n dod i lyfrau go iawn, afraid dweud mai’r clawr yw un o’r darnau pwysicaf wrth gyhoeddi. Mae’n bwysig iawn fod gan lyfr glawr deniadol a smart sydd yn aros yn driw i’r cynnwys a’r gwaith creadigol tra’n gwerthu’r gyfrol a denu darllenydd i gydio ynddo- fel gwenyn at flodyn!

Ond sut mae clawr llyfr yn cael ei greu a’i ddatblygu, medde chi?

'Don’t judge a book by its cover'- that's the saying. But when it comes to real books, it's not necessary to say that the cover is one of the most important points when publishing. It's very important to have an attractive and smart cover twhich stays faithful to the content and the creative work while selling the volume- like a bee to a flower!

But how are book covers created and developed, do you think?

Mae’n anodd dod o hyd i le da i sgwennu ar brydiau – yn enwedig os yw syniad yn eich taro chi ganol nos neu os yw’r awen yn styfnig ac yn gwrthod cydio. Ond ble mae rhai o awduron amlycaf Cymru yn sgwennu eu campweithiau, tybed? Fe aethom ni i fusnesu...

It's difficult to find a good place to write at times- especially if an idea strikes you in the middle of the night or if the muse is stubborn and refuses to come. But where do some of Wales' most prominent authors write their masterpieces, I wonder? We went to to be nosy...
