Tacos gyda jackfruit wedi’i dynnu / Tacos with pulled jackfruit

Mae’r tacos yma yn flasus tu hwnt ac yn hawdd i’w gwneud hefyd. Gallwch ddod o hyd i jackfruit mewn siopau bwyd rhyngwladol, ond gallwch ddefnyddio ‘refried beans’ neu gwygbys yn lle – ond bydd angen i chi eu stwnsio.
These tacos are deliciously moreish and easy to make, too. You should be able to find jackfruit in international food shops, but if you come away empty-handed you can use refried beans, or even chickpeas – just mash them up a bit first.

 400 g (1 can) Jackfruit mewn heli / Jackfruit in brine
 1 Winwnsyn canolig, wedi'i sleisio'n sleisys tenau / Medium onion, sliced into thin slices
 2 Clof garlleg / Cloves garlic
 1 tsp Sinamon / Cinnamon
 2 ½ tbsp Surop masarn / Maple syrup
 Sudd 1 leim / The juice of 1 lime
 ½ tsp Powdr tsili / Chilli powder
 150 ml Dŵr / Water
 1 tbsp Olew olewydd / Olive Oil
 1 Pecyn o dacos / Packet of tacos

Rinsiwch y jackfruit yn drwyadl, yna draeniwch a rhwbiwch yn eich bysedd tan iddo droi’n wydn. Cadwch y coesau a’r hadau a thorrwch gyda gweddill y ffrwyth.
Rinse the jackfruit thoroughly, then drain and rub it between your fingers until it breaks apart and becomes stringy. Don’t throw away the edible stems and seeds – chop them up and add to rest of the fruit.

Ffriwch yr winwns a’r garlleg yn yr olew dros wres canolig am 5 munud, neu tan eu bod yn frown.
Over a medium heat, fry the onions and garlic in the olive oil for about 5 minutes, or until they are browned.

Ychwanegwch y jackfruit, y dŵr, y surop masarn, sudd leim a’r sbeisys a throwch.
Add the jackfruit, the water, maple syrup, lime juice and spices and stir.

Rhowch gaead ar y padell a mudferwch am 15 munud gan droi ambell waith.
Cover with a lid, then simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cynhewswch y ffwrn i 180C a rhowch y tacos ar dun pobi mawr. Pobwch am 3-4 munud neu yn dilyn cyfarwyddiadau’r paced.
Heat the oven to 180C and place the taco shells on a large baking tray. Bake for 3-4 minutes, or according to packet instructions.

Yna llenwch pob daco gyda’r cymysgedd jackfruit. Gweinwch gyda gwacamoli, iogwrt figan, coriander a darnau leim.
Then simply fill each taco shell with some pulled jackfruit. Serve with guacamole, vegan yogurt, coriander and lime wedges.
